HV-265 Magic Wand Plus

The Magic Wand Plus from 2020 is the latest evolution of the original Hitachi Magic Wand, the legendary massager that has been around since the 70's in the US and Japan is now for sale in the Czech Republic. Its original purpose was to massage back and shoulder muscles as well as fatigued arms or legs, and even to treat the carpal tunnel syndrome or partial fingers and limbs paralysis. However, due to its unprecedented power and strong vibrations, it quickly found its way to the more intimate womanly parts and finally established itself as the world's leading vibrator. Its fame grew over the years and nowadays it's being featured not only in a vast number of adult movies but also in conventional TV series such as Sex And The City and others.

The Magic Wand Plus is not like the other vibrators. Unless we consider the attachments that fit onto its head, its usage is limited to placing its vibrating head onto the body surface only. To achieve its characteristically powerful vibrations, it needs to be plugged directly to the wall electrical socket (meaning it contains no batteries). As opposed to the original Hitachi Magic Wand, it no longer needs an external voltage converter since it contains one already fitted to its power cord. To power it you only need the standard "airport" shape adaptor and I include one with each Magic Wand for free.

Over time the name of the vibrator had changes several times, from HV-250R Hitachi Magic Wand (1968-2013) via HV-260 Magic Wand Original (2013-2020) up to the current HV-265 Magic Wand Plus. Vibratex, Inc., has been the manufacturer for the entire period of time, licensed from Hitachi who is the author of the design. Talking of design, it hasn't changed since its conception: the device is conceptually a hand blender, it's got a powerful motor in its body which spins an eccentric weight in the head; they are connected by a metal shaft running through the neck. The counterfeits, on the contrary, have a small motor direcly in the head, which makes them lighter and less powerful. The difference from the original Hitachi is that the Plus version seems a bit stiffer made, a bit quieter, a bit less jerky upon turning on and off, and I would say its vibrations are a tad stronger than before, especially at the fastest speed.
